MYRTLE BEACH — News13 and the S.C. Employment Security Commission are teaming up today to host a Job Helpline, providing callers with information on unemployment benefits and finding a job.
It is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and falls on the same day the commission is set to release December unemployment report for the state.
The state’s November unemployment rate was 12.3 percent, a record high that tied for the third-highest in the country.
