Carolina Sandhills National Wildlife Refuge Annual Night Prowl: 6:30 p.m. Friday at the administrative office of the refuge, approximately four miles east of McBee on US Highway 1. Free. Reservations required. Participants will load into a cotton wagon pulled by a farm tractor and using spotlights, shine to spot animals in the fields and forests throughout the refuge. The weather may be cold, so dress warmly and bring a blanket. This event is NOT suitable for children under the age of 5 years old.
