LONGS -- Horry County police arrested one person in connection with a shooting in Longs Tuesday morning, according to Sgt. Robert Kegler.
Brian O'Neal Knox, 24, from Loris is charged with Assault and Battery with the Intent to Kill.
Dispatch received a call about 11:15 a.m. for a shooting at a residence on Long Acres Drive in Longs.
Kegler says one man was shot in the upper body and transported to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He is listed in stable condition and is expected to be okay.
There is no word on what led to the shooting or on a possible suspect, but detectives are still investigating.
