CONWAY -- The national television show, America’s Most Wanted, is featuring a segment on a wanted suspect from an armed robbery in Horry County.
Horry County Police Department detectives say Antonio Dion Gilbert, 33, of Bennettsville is wanted in connection with the robbery that happened at Martin’s Place in Aynor June 17, 2009. Police believe Gilbert is partially responsible for the robbery and for stabbing the victim, Craig Martin, multiple times-including in the left eye.
Police identified three people in connection with the incident. The other two suspects are already arrested and charged.
Gilbert is wanted on Assault and Battery With Intent to Kill, Armed Robbery, and Kidnapping charges.
The ‘America’s Most Wanted’ segment will air in its Feb. 13 show. Anyone with information on Gilbert’s location is asked to contact the Horry County Police Department at (843)915-5350 or (843)915-TIPS. Police warn should be considered armed and dangerous.
