Marion Baptist Church will host its ninth year of Judgment House starting next weekend.
It takes about 300 people from the church and community to put on the three weekend production.
“It’s a unique way of presenting the gospel of Christ. So often we just hear a sermon from the pulpit but this puts the message of Christ in a real life situation and it’s a little easier for people to understand and apply to their own lives,” Chip Scruggs, Judgment House Director said.
Each year the Judgment House takes a different real life situation and acts it out so the audience can see how their every day choices may affect their after life.
Margaret Baker has been involved with the production for all nine years, she said every year is more thrilling than the previous.
“The way we feel about it is if we’re having 2,000 people still coming for the Lord and salvation is going on why stop it,” Baker said.
Judgment House takes about 45 minutes to walk through and it is open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28.
