DILLON – One person is dead and a second is being sought by Dillon County investigators following an early Saturday morning shooting.
Dillon County Sheriff Major Hulon said the incident happened about 4 a.m. in the parking lot of the Pines Club, near the Marlboro County/Dillon County line.
The victim was shot in the head, the sheriff said. The victim was taken to a Florence medical center for treatment and later died.
Deputies are looking for a “person of interest” identified by witnesses to the incident, Hulon said.
