FLORENCE — Officials at Francis Marion University have announced the addition of new faculty members for the 2010-2011 school year.
Nwamaka (Amaka) Anaza of West Lafayette, Ind., is an assistant professor of marketing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in paralegal studies and Master of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University. She earned her doctorate in consumer behavior from Purdue University.
Kirk Boyle of Cincinnati is an assistant professor of English. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Master of Arts and doctorate in English and Comparative Literature from the University of Cincinnati.
Julian M. Buck of Eugene, Ore., is an assistant professor of mathematics. He earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the University of Northern British Columbia, and Master of Science and doctorate in mathematics from University of Oregon.
Amy L. Clemons of Lafayette, Ind., is an assistant professor of English. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Bluffton College in Bluffton, Ohio, Master of Arts in English from Northeastern University in Boston and doctorate in English from Purdue University.
Gregg W. Gelb of Sanford, N.C., is an assistant professor of music-instrumental. He earned a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music in Boston, the Master of Music in saxophone performance from the North Carolina School of the Arts, and the Doctor of Musical Arts in saxophone performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Katie E. Horney of Greensboro, N.C., is an assistant professor of costume design. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in theatre arts from High Point University and the Master of Fine Arts in costume and scenic design from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
