CHESTERFIELD -- The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating an early Saturday morning crash that killed a man.
Chesterfield County Coroner Kip Kiser identified the victim as Tommy Rogers of Chesterfield.
Rogers died at 4:05 a.m. after single-car a crash on Teal Mills Road about 3 a.m., according to Lance Cpl. Josef Robinson.
The victim was driving a 1993 Oldsmobile south on the road when the car ran off the right side of the road, hit a tree, hit a culvert, overturned and he was ejected, Robinson said.
The victim was pronounced dead at a Chesterfield County meidcal center of injuries he suffered in the crash, Robinson said.
Toxicology reports are pending, Robinson said.
