CONWAY - The Horry County Coroner's office has identified the man shot Wednesday afternoon during a home invasion as 23-year-old Anthony Andre Brown Jr., who died after suffering a single gun shot wound to the chest, Coroner Tony Hendrick said.

Police have one person in custody and say charges should be filed Thursday afternoon.

Police released a female suspect with no charges, Thursday morning.

They are still looking for a third suspect, although Sgt. Robert Kegler said, the race and gender of that suspect is unknown at this time.

Kegler said the incident happened about 1:15 p.m. at 3140 Wayside Road near Conway, where three suspects entered the home.

Kegler said an altercation began with the homeowner and suspects. Police say the homeowner shot one of them and the other suspects left the scene in a blue sport utility vehicle.

The vehicle was located Wednesday afternoon.
