Conway man charged with weekend stabbing

CONWAY - A Conway man is in custody at the J. Rueben Long Detention Center after a stabbing that occurred over this past weekend.

According to a press release, Hector Osorio, 34, of Conway is charged with assault and battery with intent to kill and resisting arrest after police say he stabbed a man Friday.

Police said the incident happened at an address on Bottle Brach Rd.

Police found one male victim with a stab wound on the left side of his torso.

Officers learned that an argument turned physical at the address, and the victim was stabbed by Osorio during the altercation.

Osorio had fled on foot prior to law enforcement’s arrival.

A search was conducted in the area, where Osorio was located in a field close to the crime scene.

After a short pursuit, Osorio was captured in a wooded are by officers.
