MARION -- A Marion man is dead after a four-wheeler accident Saturday afternoon.
Marion Coroner, Jerry Richardson says Bill Henry Bufkin, Jr. 30, died when the four wheeler he was riding flipped over on Gilchrist road in Mullins.
The accident happened just after 3 p.m. Saturday.
Richardson says Bufkin's hat flew off of his head and Bufkin looked back at the hat and the four wheeler flipped over.
Bufkin died of head injuries he sustained in the accident.
