Celebration of Life planned for Florence flight nurse who died in a helicopter crash

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

Family and friends are having a "Celebration of Life" in honor of flight nurse Diana Conner on Saturday, October 3 from 5 PM until 8 PM.

Conner was killed Friday when the Omniflight medical helicopter she was flying in, crashed in Georgetown County.

The pilot, Patrick Walters and paramedic Randolph “Claxton” Dove, were also killed.

The “Celebration of Life” event will be held at the Williamsburg County Recreation Center.

A family spokesperson said it will be a “huge party” in Conner’s honor, since she did not want a funeral service.

The spokesperson also said there will be a marker placed at the helipad at Williamsburg Regional Hospital in Kingstree with the names of the flight crew.

The helicopter crash is being investigated by the NTSB.
