Will Wattles, professor of psychology at Francis Marion University, will present “Natural treasures at the far ends of U.S. 1,” to the Pee Dee Group-Sierra Club on Thursday.
The program begins at 7 p.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 1201 Cherokee Road, Florence.
Wattles will discuss natural resources, as well as the existence of places worth seeing and worth saving along the highway. His talk will include a little geology, botany, history, geography, culture, bird watching, herpetile hunting and ecology.
