The Florence Area Humane Society will have a yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 17 at S&W Manufacturing on the corner of Hoffmeyer and Jody roads in Florence.

“Clean up and clear out all your stuff and help the animals at the Florence Area Humane Society,” she said. “No item is too big or too small.”
Magee said arrangements can be made to pick up items at homes or businesses. Clothes will be accepted if clean and on hangers. Appliances and electronics must be in working order.
The humane society shelter is located at 1007 Stockade Drive, off of National Cemetery Road, in Florence and is open from noon to 5 p.m. every day except Wednesday and Sunday. Call (843) 669-2921 for more information on how to help or volunteer.
