A Dillon man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting earlier this month at the Huddle House in Marion has been arrested, Marion Police Lt. Farmer Blue said.
City of Dillon Police officers arrested Dennis Lee Brown, 21, Sunday morning, he said.
Blue said he is charged with involuntary manslaughter and is in custody at the Marion County Jail.
The incident occured shortly after 4 a.m. Aug. 9 at the restaurant located at 2436 U.S. 76 East.
Officers think Brown pulled the trigger on the gun that killed 29-year old Kion Roberts of Colum-bia as he was sitting in a car. He is the fifth person to be arrested in connection with the shoot-out.
Investigators initially said Roberts was apparently shot by 20-year-old Kadeem Kelly of Marion, who was shot in the stomach during the fray prompted by an argument between two groups of men in the parking lot, resulting in four people being injured.
Brown was supposed to turn himself in to police Thursday, but failed to do so, Blue said.
Five people already were charged in connection with the shooting: Jayvoris Out-law, 21, of Dillon, accessory after the fact of assault and battery with intent to kill; Clifford Carmichael, 21, of Dillon, accessory after the fact of assault and battery with intent to kill; Keith Bush Jr., 25, of Dillon, accessory after the fact of assault with intent to kill; Jacoby Campbell, 22, of Dillon, accessory after the fact of assault with intent to kill, discharging a firearm inside city limits and unlawful pos-session of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime; and Brian Brown, of Dillon, 24, accessory after the fact of murder.
Police also were questioning Mario Bush as a person of interest in the case. Bush has a Columbia address but is originally from Dillon.
