FLORENCE - Moe’s Southwest Grill is stepping up to help the Pee Dee Chapter of the American Red Cross with its leaking roof.
“We won’t be able to raise all the money needed but we can make a difference” stated owner Tripp Kelly.
In a news release from the Pee Dee Chapter of the American Red Cross, on Wednesday Sept. 9 the restaurant will give 50 percent of all proceeds to the chapter in hopes others will follow with assistance.
From 5 pm-7pm the City of Florence Fire Department will be on site to talk about fire safety with kids. The restaurant will be open from 11am to 10 pm
The Pee Dee Chapter which covers Florence, Darlington, Dillon, Marion, Marlboro and Chesterfield counties assisted over 900 victims of disaster last year, delivered approximately 550 emergency military messages and taught almost 9000 students life saving skills.
The chapter is asking the community to help them now with a leaking roof.
