Goodwill Industries of Lower South Carolina is giving you a chance to win a new HDTV when you make a donation. Drop your gently used clothing, furniture and house hold goods to Goodwill's donation drive-thru center on or before November 1 and you will be entered to win a new HDTV.
When you donate to Goodwill, you are helping put people in your community to work. Goodwill uses over 90% of the revenue gained through the sale of donated goods to fund job training and employment services for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment.
"Donating to Goodwill is making an investment in your local community," said Robert Smith, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Lower South Carolina. "Donations play a pivotal role in our ability to provide the community with job training and placement services."
Goodwill serves their mission by providing career counseling, job training, and other employment related programs to people who have barriers to employment. Last year, Goodwill was able to place over 900 people into new jobs and served over 17,000 in South Carolina.
So clean out your closet, go through your garage and bring your donations to your local Goodwill located at 1551 Second Loop Road and you could be watching in style!
