MYRTLE BEACH – Horry County Government and the Horry County Department of Airports will conduct a seminar for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, women and minorities interested in working construction for the expansion of Myrtle Beach International Airport.
The seminar will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the James R. Frazier Bucksport Community Center and Training Facility, 1370 Bucksport Road, Conway, SC 29527.
There will be a brief presentation on the airport expansion project and a presentation on DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprises) opportunities. The DBE qualifying process will be explained.
The Myrtle Beach International Airport Terminal Capacity Expansion Project will ensure that disadvantaged business enterprises, women and minorities, will have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts and subcontracts.
