Escaped Robeson County inmate caught Tuesday night

An escpaed inmate has been caught, that’s according to Robeson County Sheriff Ken Sealey.
Sheriff Sealy said Herman Locklear, 52 was apprehended Tuesday night at an apartment near Maxton.
Sealey said authorities received a phone call about Locklear’s whereabouts and he was brought back into custody without incident.
Locklear escaped while being taken to a Pembroke courtroom last Wednesday morning.
In additon to the charges he was already facing, second-degree burglary and larceny, Sealey said Locklear will also be charged with escape and he has an additional $50,000 bond.
