Motorcyle rally draws big law enforcement presence

Authorities say there were no problems after a large motorcycle club had a rally and meeting in the Pee Dee on Saturday.
Capt. Andy Locklair, with the Darlington County Sheriff’s office said that agency along with the Florence County Sheriff's office, SLED, and various other agencies set up a staging area on Highway 15, outside of Lydia at Mt. Elon Baptist Church Saturday afternoon for about four hours.
Locklair said authorities also set up road blocks and a looked for violations during the rally and meeting that lasted a couple of hours.
Locklair said the reason for the big law enforcement presence was to deter any problems and locate any violations.
Locklair said there were no problems.
