Miss Florence Scholarship Pageant tonight in Hartsville

Five contestants will compete for the title of Miss Florence at 7 tonight at the Hartsville Center Theater.

Kaitlyn Bailey (Mayo Magnet High School), Bree Boyce (Francis Marion University), Alaina Novak (College of Charleston), Sarah Potter (Charleston Southern) and Sarah-Frances Parker (University of South Carolina) have entered the local Miss America qualifier. The winner advances to Miss South Carolina in July.

Three contestants have entered the Teen portion of the annual competition, Erika Bryant (Dillon Christian School), Autumn Ewell (Long Middle School) and Maggie Love (Williamsburg Academy).

Miss Florence is an open pageant, meaning contestants from outside Florence can enter the contest.

Tickets are $15 at the door, including program.
