LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Country needs to start putting Americans back to work

We’ve had both Bushs, Reagan and Ford as Republican presidents in recent years. We’ve had a Republican majority in Congress in recent years, yet at no time has either of them had the foresight to revamp our bloated health care system.
To attack another person’s ideas without having one of your own is plain ignorance. The people against the president’s health care proposal are the ones most in need of aid. This is not a black or Hispanic proposal, but one also for the millions of needy whites in America hampered by the greed of the 1 percent (most wealthy). America needs to wake up, the 1 percent is selling off assets to the Chinese and Japanese. Limit goods exported into this country, put Americans back to work and rally around our elected leaders. It’s not only American, it’s biblical.
