Robeson County Deputies are searching for man who escaped while being taken to a Pembroke courtroom Wednesday morning.
Maj. Howard Branch said 52-year-old Herman Locklear was charged with second-degree burglary and larceny.
He is a Native American male with gray hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his lower left arm of a heart and the word "Pansy."
