CONWAY - Top NASCAR executives conducted a public forum about motorsports marketing Friday at Wheelwright Auditorium on the Coastal Carolina University campus.
Organizers said it was an opportunity for NASCAR fans to get a behind the scenes look at NASCAR and the motorsports industry.
Coastal Carolina University is one of six universities selected to participate in a semester-long program that immerses students into the business of NASCAR, known as NASCAR Kinetics: Marketing in Motion.
Each team will help find solutions to business cases presented throughout the semester. Case studies are based on actual NASCAR initiatives, the release said.
The winning team will travel to Miami to attend NASCAR's championship weekend, representing their university and interacting with prominent NASCAR and Official Partner business professionals.
