West Florence High School has been selected to pilot the S.C. College Application Week Program during Monday through Oct. 16. The program is sponsored by the S.C.College Access Network (SCCAN) through the S.C. Commission on Higher Education (SCCHE) in coordination with the West Florence Guidance Department.
South Carolina College Application Week was established to show all students that college is possible, if they prepare. The purpose of College Application Week is to assist all high school seniors with completing and filing college applications. While the focus is to assist all students, emphasis is placed on first-generation and is a boost of encouragement to students who may not otherwise apply to college.
The goal of College Application Week is to provide a forum for all seniors to complete and file electronic college applications.
