The Miss Darlington and Miss Darlington Teen Scholarship Pageant committee will hold its first interest meeting 2 p.m. Sunday at the Greater Darlington Chamber of Commerce.
To be a contestant in the Miss Darlington Teen pageant you must be between the ages of 13-17 (junior in high school) and for the Miss Darlington pageant you must be age 17 (senior in high school) to 24.
The winners will receive $1,150 in scholarships along with a prize package. Both winners will represent the city of Darlington in the 2010 Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina teen pageants.
The Miss Darlington pageant is an official preliminary to the Miss America pageant.
