FLORENCE--A two-car wreck at the intersection of 2nd Loop Road and Irby Street in Florence at approximately 4 a.m. Friday left four people injured, said Maj. Carlos Raines with Florence Police.
Both drivers are charged with felony DUI, he said.
The crash between a large SUV and a small Mitsubishi occurred as one of the vehicles tried to make a left turn onto 2nd Loop.
One of the passengers in the back seat of the Mitsubishi was launched into the windshield. Raines did not know the extent of all the injuries but said all of them were sent to the hospital.
