The Market Common in Myrtle Beach will soon be well-decorated for the holiday season.
Its 2nd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is Friday, Nov. 28 from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. The tree will be displayed at Valor Park near the shopping-and-dining area, which is located on the former Air Force base.
But the tree-lighting isn't all that is going on at Market Common; there will also be live performances and other holiday traditions to get people in the festive spirit.
Some of the activities include singing and dancing performances, carriage rides, and a chance to get pictures taken with Santa.
Event organizers suggest getting to the area early to avoid heavy traffic around the area.
