Ona is a stoic, beautiful red and white hound mix who loves heading out for walks. Like most hounds, she is very curious, pretty much goes with the flow and loves meeting new dogs. She is friendly and engaging and sports the most stunning long, velveteen ears.
Ona is heartworm negative and has been spayed. She recently recovered from eye entropion surgery. Her eyes appear runny due to her prior condition.
The Darlington County Humane Society shelter, (843) 398-4402, is located off Highway 151, ½ mile west of Darlington Raceway. Turn beside the water tower. Shelter hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The shelter is closed Wednesday and Sunday.
