The Myrtle Beach runoff votes have all been counted and certified.

According to a press release, the Myrtle Beach Election Commission met Thursday morning to canvass the vote from Tuesday’s municipal runoff election and certify the results.

Commissioners accepted and counted several absentee and failsafe ballots, as well as the votes from the remaining Dunes 1 voting machine.

Sandy Martin, director of the Horry County Voter Registration and Elections Office, brought the uncounted machine to the meeting.

She then printed the results and presented them to the commissioners.

The Election Commission confirmed that John Rhodes was elected mayor, and that Randal Wallace and Mike Lowder were elected to City Council.

Wayne Gray won a Council seat outright during the November 3 general election.

With the additional ballots, the turnout among eligible voters in Tuesday’s runoff climbed to approximately 36.5 percent. Here are the certified totals.

Mayor
John Rhodes 2,851
Mark McBride 2,230

Council
Randal Wallace 3,548
