Deputies are investigating a shooting that took place outside of a Dillon County club on Tuesday night.
A man who drove up to the Blue Moon Club on Harlees Bridge Road sometime between 10:30 and 10:45 p.m. said someone began firing shots at him, Dillon County Sheriff’s Capt. Cliff Arnette. One shot hit the man in the left side of his body near his shoulder and arm.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Arnette said deputies have investigated previous shooting incidents at the club in the past, but have not yet identified a suspect in this case.
