MYRTLE BEACH - Myrtle Beach voters return to the polls today for a runoff election to select the city's next mayor as well as two members of city council.
In the mayor's race, voters will choose between incumbent John Rhodes and challenger Mark McBride.
Three candidates are vying for two seats on council. Incumbents Randal Wallace and Chuck Martino square off along with challenger Mike Lowder.
The polling locations, listed below, are the same as before and are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Once again, votes will be tallied in Council Chamber at the Ted C. Collins Law Enforcement Center, with doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Additional parking is available at the City Services Building, at Myrtle’s Market, at the City Hall Annex and at City Hall.

Because the runoff is a continuation of the November 3 election, any person eligible to vote then may vote in the runoff.
Late registrants who were not eligible for the November 3 election may not vote in the runoff.
Anyone who cast a failsafe or challenge vote in the general election must return to the same polling place for the runoff.
