Myrtle Beach police search for robbery suspect

The suspect wanted in connection with the CVS robbery was caught on surveillance cameras.

Myrtle Beach Police investigators are searching for a man who robbed a pharmacy early Monday morning.

According to a police incident report, the robbery took place around 1:30 a.m. at the CVS, 1303 38th Ave North.

Witnesses told police a man walked up to the counter with a note and demanded Oxycontin and Xanax pills.

Police said the note indicated he had a gun and "had nothing to lose".

The employee gave the suspect a bag with some of the pills inside.

Police said the suspect then left the store on foot.
