If you have an old uniform or any other piece of memorabilia you can donate to the city of Myrtle Beach, it could go a long way to help the city pay tribute to the men and women who once served on the old Myrtle Beach Air Force Base.

Diane Moskow-McKenzie with the city is collecting artifacts, and hopes to display them alongside picture displays the city put up earlier this year at Crabtree Gym, Whispering Pines Golf Course, and the Base Recreation Center.

Each building's display correspond to a different war.

"It's no longer just the Market Common and places people live," said McKenzie. "Some of the stories that have come out are absolutely incredible," she said.
If you have anything you'd like to donate, contact Diane at city hall at (843) 918-1069.
