Students with the Johnakin Middle School band performed with the Marion High School marching band on Oct. 16 at the varsity football game against Loris.
The game provided an opportunity for Swamp Fox football fans to hear the combined JMS and MHS bands at work.
There are 51 sixth graders, 31 seventh graders and 16 eighth grade students participating in the band.
