A person was airlifted after a single car accident on Secondary 31 south of Loris Saturday night.
Cpl. Paul Brouthers with the S.C. Highway Patrol said a BMW hit a guardrail on the left side of a bridge then crossed over to the right side of the road and hit a tree around 7 p.m.
One person was airlifted to New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C.
SCHP is still investigating the accident, according to Cpl. Brouthers.
