Columbia -- On Oct. 31, the Trinity Collegiate School boys’ cross country team won its second straight 2A SCISA Cross Country State title, ending a remarkable season.
The team finished the season placing first in every major invitational they entered and participated in the Hartsville Invitational, defeating all area public high school cross country teams.
Region Champions for the third straight year, the Titans were led by Zach Fuller, two-time Region Runner of the Year and 2008 State Champion. Ranked third in the state for independent schools by the S.C. Cross Country Coaches Associates Poll, Trinity Collegiate School was ranked ahead of all 2A and many top 3A SCISA programs.
At the state meet, the Titans set another record by placing six runners in the top ten for All-State Honors, something that had never been done before.
