CONWAY - The Mission of the United Way of Horry County, Inc. in Conway, is to unite the diverse elements of Horry County in a network of contributors, providers and users of human services in order to expand the capacity of these citizens to solve social problems and care for one another.
The 2009-2010 campaign goal is $1,400,000,which will support 36 Community Partners. The money raised in Horry County is used in Horry County to help the people in the community.
Local business owner, Steve Chapman of Myrtle Beach, is the General Campaign Chairperson for this year's campaign. Mr. Chapman hopes others in the community will decide to support this agency which he says does so much for people in the community.
