One suspect at-large, one arrested in Loris pizza robbery

Horry County police continue to look for a person wanted in connection to a Domino’s Pizza Robbery Nov. 6.

One suspect has already been arrested. James Myers III, 21, was arrested Nov. 9 and charged with armed robbery. The Loris man bonded out of jail.

The suspect-at-large is Brian Maurice Powell, 42. He is also from Loris and is wanted for armed robbery and assault and battery with intent to kill. Police warn that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police say the men committed an armed robbery at the Domino’s Pizza at 209 Highway 703 South in Loris.

During the robbery, police say a victim was shot while trying to get suspect information and a vehicle description.

Detectives with the Horry County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Section investigated the incident.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Horry County police.
