The Hartsville High School Red Foxes varsity football team will host T. L. Hanna at 7:30 p.m. today in the first round of the Division II 4A State Playoffs. Everyone will be required to purchase a $6 ticket for entry. No season tickets or Red Apple passes will be accepted, only SCHSL passes.
Advance tickets can be purchased in the main office of the school. Pre-sold ticket holders may enter the pass gate at the stadium.
The 5th Annual Red Fox Oyster Roast and Shrimp Fest will be 3 to 7 p.m. Nov. 21 at J. Michael’s Grill & Raw Bar in Hartsville. Entertainment will be provided by Dan E. Lockemy at the beach and Billy Scott & The Prophets. All proceeds support HHS athletics.
Tickets are $30 each, and the ticket holder will be given five drink tickets. After those five drinks, each drink will be $1. Tickets can be purchased at HobNob Gourmet, J. Michael’s, Hartsville High main office, First Citizens Bank or from Hartsville High coaching staff.
Charles Holcombe will prepare the oysters. Other food will include fried and steamed shrimp, low country boil, hushpuppies and catfish stew.
