I don’t know what you Christians are doing to Mr. Bouska, but stop it! Apparently what he has heard of your beliefs deeply disturbs him.
Seriously, I fervently believe that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and that no one comes unto the Father except through him, but Jesus himself said, if someone refuses to receive the Gospel, shake the dust off your shoes and move on. Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, atheists and agnostics all make up our pluralistic society in which freedom of beliefs is absolutely essential, and mutual respect and tolerance is demanded of each of us in order to ensure domestic tranquility.
Paul also said that believers are not to be yoked unequally to unbelievers. I believe we should recognize that the reciprocal is true as well.
We all need to hear Mr. Bouska and let him know that no one intends him any harm and that we respect his right to his beliefs. Although Mr. Bouska hurts my feelings, I would die for his right to do so.
Words can hurt, even more than sticks and stones.
