Downtown Mullins was the site of the annual Marion County Veterans Day Parade Saturday Nov. 7. As citizens lined along Main Street, military veterans and several parade participants strolled city street as cheers showed an appreciation for the contributions from the nation’s best and brightest.
Following the parade a Veterans Day program was held inside the Mullins National Guard Amory.
Paula Hanson and Marion Johnson served as quest speakers for the event. Hanson and Johnson are Veterans Advocates at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston.
