The Oct. 22 shooting death of a Hartsville man that was originally thought to be a homicide has been ruled a suicide, Hartsville Police Chief Tim Kemp said.

Raheen Robinson, 29, was found lying in a yard in the 400 block of Jasper Avenue in Hartsville about 9 a.m., according to a release from Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee.

Robinson was pronounced dead at 9:30 a.m., Hardee said. The body was sent to Newberry for an autopsy.

Authorities determined his injuries were self-inflicted after examining forensic evidence, Kemp said.
