Rec football wraps up season

The Hartsville Area Recreation Department Youth Football Program has completed its regular season with a Superbowl for its 6 & Under and 8 & Under tackle teams Nov. 3 at Byerly Park.

In the flag league, the Gamecocks completed an undefeated season with a 38-13 win over the Panthers. The consolation game was won by the Red Foxes 25-20 over the Bulldogs. In the 8 & Under group, Super-Bowl Champions were Warp 3 Computers as they defeated Tingen & Associates 20-6 to finish their season undefeated. Carolina Printing won the consolation game 20-0 over T&J Motors.

The All Stars played their first games in the Eastern Playoffs on Saturday at Freedom Florence.

The Small Fry team (10 & Under) won 30-0 over Conway No. 2 and will play 11 a.m. Saturday at Freedom Florence against Myrtle Beach. The Mites (12 & Under) lost to Mullins 40-6.

Small Fry All Stars are Collins Bishop, Jontavius Blackney, Jaquez Blue, Jerod Cassidy, Jaquan Cabbagestalk, Quanzavius Ceasar, Ethan Gainey, Ty Gainey, Rodarius Gattison, Kyron Gray, Frankie Dee Hall, Alvia Joyner, Steve Joyner, Bernard Huggins, Terrence Mack, Tylyk Martin, Kelvin Pooler, Keshari Pooler, Darius Rhodes, Darien Stevenson, Randy Wheeler, Montrez Williams, Malik Woodham and Scott Driggers. Head coach for Small Fry All Stars is Casey Hawkins. Assistants are Steve Joyner, Amp Carraway and Collins Bishop.

Mites All-Stars are Marquise King, Creighvion Benjamin, Christian Howle, Davion McCoy, Seth Spell, Rich Hunt, Daniel Wilds, Daiquez Prescott, Joshua Allen, Karlos Witherspoon, Jamal Shaw, Shaheem McPhail, Monterrio Harris, Ezekial Stevenson, Eddie Martin, Tiqueze Montgomery, Aryon Dudley, Brooks Haley, Geonquaze Woods, Justin Jackson, Nathan Frierson, Antonio Duntonel, James Clair, Shawn Thomas, Delante Moore and Myvaquis Stevenson. Head coach for Mites All Stars is Rufus Dixon. Assistant coaches are Shenard Brown, Randy McPhail, Frank Woods and Rick Haley.
