Florence County Sheriff's deputies are searching for two suspects who robbed a Florence convenience store Tuesday afternoon, Florence County Sheriff 's Lt. Jason Dore said.
It happened at about 1:15p.m. at the Sunoco station on West Palmetto Street near Interstate 95 across from the Ramada Inn.
The suspects walked in and told the clerk to lie prone on the floor while they took an unknown amount of money before leaving the scene.
It's not clear if they left in a vehicle or on foot, Dore said.
The suspects are described as black men.
