The Horry County Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of a pizza parlor near Loris.
According to a press release, officers were called to the Domino's Pizza, 209 Hwy 701 South around 10:45 p.m. Nov. 6 for a armed robbery call.
Witnesses told police that an unknown black male entered the store wearing a dark bandana and presented a handgun, demanding money from the clerk.
As the suspect was leaving the restaurant, the clerk followed him to get a description of the suspect vehicle.
At that point, the suspect shot one round into the air.
The clerk then followed the suspect vehicle in his car. While following the vehicle, the suspect fired two shots at the clerk’s vehicle.
The clerk then lost sight of the suspect vehicle.
Detectives with the Horry County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Section are asking anyone with information on the robbery to contact the Horry County Police Department at 915-5350.
