Georgetown Wal-Mart worker dies of apparent electrocution

A Wal-Mart worker died while working on the store’s roof early Tuesday morning.

The Georgetown County Coroner’s Office says this happened around 12:45 at the Wal-Mart on Fraser Street in Georgetown.

Coroner Kenny Johnson says Terry Lee Vestal, Jr., 24, died after his forehead made contact with fuses while he was working on air conditioner.

Preliminary autopsy results show Vestal died of electrocution.

He was from Knoxville, Tenn.

His death is still being investigated.
