A a state-of-the-art battery recycling facility, representing a $100 million investment and the creation of 250 jobs in Florence County, will be announced June 2.
The company has been identified only as a global Fortune 100 company with leadership positions in automotive interiors, building efficiency, and power solutions, according to a press release from the Florence County Economic Development Partnership and North Eastern Strategic Alliance.
Company officials will join state and local leaders for the announcement, scheduled for 12:30 p.m. June 2 at the Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology’s Pee Dee Electric Cooperative Auditorium.
