An accident in Florence County Sunday morning, tied up traffic for hours on I-95, and claimed the life of a Richmond, Virginia man.
The accident happened at about 10:30 Sunday morning, near mile marker 162 on northbound I-95.
Two cars were involved in the wreck, which then backed up traffic for miles along the northbound side of I-95.
Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews says 43-year-old Jose Antonio Cabrera died on the scene from injuries he sustained in the accident.
The Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
