Dillon police have arrested a man in connection with a burglary at a local Radio Shack, Dillon Police Sgt. James Hayes said.
Willie Drakeford, 46, is charged with second-degree burglary and grand larceny.
Drakeford was recognized from a surveillance video recorded during the burglary and was arrested Tuesday in Mullins where he lived, Hayes said.
The incident happened about 8 p.m. May 5 at the Radio Shack on U.S. 301 in Dillon, according to a police incident report.
Police arrived and found a window shattered by a brick that had been thrown into the business. More than $5,000 in electronics was taken from the business, according to the report.
One of the suspects in the case is described as a white man in his 30s or 40s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 235 pounds. The other suspect is described as a white woman, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 155 pounds.
A $500 reward is being offered to information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
